| Verdict | Fits if you want fertility insights, expert videos and an Apple Watch app | The pick if you want every feature free and a log built for your 40s and 50s |
Flo keeps its personal insights, Symptom Checker and Health Assistant in Premium, and its US listing shows Premium prices from $1.99 to $59.99 without saying which plan is which (App Store). Her Good Days has no paid tier at all.
The bigger difference is what the app puts in front of you. In perimenopause, the + Log button opens on hot flash, period, sleep, mood and brain fog. At night it moves night sweats to the top. Each symptom gets mild, moderate or severe and the time, so the doctor report can say how often and how strong.

Where Flo doesn't publicly say, the cell says so rather than guessing.

In June 2021 the FTC finalized an order against Flo Health. It alleged Flo shared health data from millions of users with marketing and analytics firms, including Facebook and Google. The order requires consent before sharing health data and an independent review of its privacy practices (FTC).
In August 2025 a California jury found Meta liable for collecting Flo users' data; Flo and Google settled their part of that case (TechCrunch).
Flo now says it has never sold user data and makes money from subscriptions, and that with your consent it may share some non-health data with AppsFlyer or Firebase for advertising (Flo privacy FAQ).
